I have been looking for a little while now about the best way to capture gaming footage of some of my clan and I's antics and the odd game review from an older gamers perspective. Having done a bit of research online I found a couple of products that might of done the trick but living in NZ they were not available.
I contacted Mighty Ape, my favourite on line store for anything gaming to see if they had anything suitable, Ben (one of the friendly apes!!) came back to me very quickly to say they were bringing a product into the country called Roxio Game Capture. Within no time at all they had uploaded it to their on line store and it was in my "wishlist" waiting for it to arrive. About a week later I got the email I was waiting for, the price was good ($189.00NZ), it was ordered and delivered within 2 days.
The Roxio Game Capture product came with the leads needed, a disc to load the software and some simple installation instructions, within 15minutes it was set up and recording!!
The video below was my first (second actually, the first had the wrong settings applied to it which caused problems with the frame position!!) attempt at putting something together. I thought I'd send a message to half of me clan, the Gonks, who have recently become a little disfunctional because half the camp went to BF3 and the other went to MW3, this was my attempt at getting them to come across to BF3.
Coming up soon will be some postings of more typical game play from CrazySlow Ninja, namely some classic fails!!
